Altra Lone Peak 8

The 12th generation of the Lone Peak has been upgraded in this newest edition. The Lone Peak utilizes Altra’s Original FootShape fit, providing Altra’s original characteristic comfort.

In addition to the just-right level of cushioning with a stack height of 25mm – not too thick or too thin – the Lone Peak offers a free and comfortable running experience while still allowing  for a responsive feel.

The Maxtrac outsole has excellent grip and traction due to a significant redesign from the previous model. While retaining well-received updates from the Lone Peak 7, such as the heel design that enhances stability from the outside with TPU support, this version is designed to be more user-friendly in tougher environments. The upper incorporates "Ripstop mesh" for improved durability, making it resistant to wear and tear while also successfully reducing the weight by approximately 11g in the same size.

The main reason why ALTRA's iconic model, Lone Peak, continues to be loved is its ability to provide “proper grip” in various environments, "just-right responsive cushioning" that reduces fatigue, and excellent "balance" for easy use in various activities such as hiking or running. This model truly reinforces the thought that if it's Altra, it has to be the Lone Peak.

Regarding size, The Lone Peak uses Altra's most spacious Original FootShape design. It is recommended to go for a half-size down compared to other models worn regularly. However, for those who have been wearing the Lone Peak 5 or later models, there is generally no need to change the size.
