The Hive Short Sleeve, a new addition to the synthetic fiber T-shirt series, has a mesh structure that increases breathability, does not get stuffy during strenuous activities, and dries quickly for steaming summer. Stretchability is achieved by crimping the yarn without adding polyurethane, and the absence of polyurethane reduces water retention and increases quick-drying performance.

Also, since it is made of 100% polyester, it can be recycled by "ByeHello," a program that recycles cut scraps and worn clothing into yarn again.

This is STATIC's concept of a sustainable system for outdoor products: minimizing waste, reducing carbon dioxide emissions from incineration, and recycling raw materials.

Importance of using recycled materials

In the "life of a garment," from procurement of raw materials to disposal after wearing, the process of procuring raw materials emits the largest amount of CO2 emissions. It accounts for approximately 50% of the total. In other words, reducing CO2 emissions in the raw material procurement process will greatly reduce the environmental impact over the "life of the garment. In the case of pre-consumer recycled nylon (*), CO2 emissions have been reduced by as much as 75%.
